Lady Esmeralda Ring
Esmeralda is the Portuguese name for Emerald and it's also a common name among Brazilian women. Different than the green crystal look that we are all used to, emerald found in its raw form is very interesting and well known among Brazilian designers. The black and white veins add character to the stone and highlight the natural beauty of each design. Every cut is unique in its own way, making each gem its own work of art. I love the idea of embracing natural beauty in its raw form and I think this is a good example of how perfect imperfections can be. I have used raw emerald in other designs with gold, but this is the first time I am using the stone with black rhodium. I am impressed by how the dark shades of the metal blend with the emerald making it almost seamless. You know how I love Lady's design curves but in this case, the stone is definitely the star. Such an easy ring to bring life to a little black dress or dress to impress with an all-white outfit.
