Blue Agate
Agate is one of the most common rock formations. Consisting of chalcedony and quartz as its primary components, it occurs naturally in a wide variety of colors. Agates are most commonly found as nodules within the cavities of volcanic rocks. These cavities are formed from the gases trapped within the liquid volcanic material. They are then filled up with silica-rich fluids creating incredible fluid lines in different hues. Agate is a very responsive stone for pigment which allows for the creation of our signature Sky Blue Agate through the process of pigmentation and radiation of white agate. Compared to other gemstones in the mineral kingdom, Agate properties radiate a lower, more gentle frequency, which could be why the stone is frequently related to helping people slow down and feel more centered.
